1. Register for free at www.gcast.com
2. Create a short audio file and upload it to gcast.com
You can call your file in by phone!
3. Then post the link to your file here. (My link is at the bottom of this post.)
If you want to create an audio file on your computer, you will need a
microphone.
If you need recording software,
http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ provides free recording software.
You will then have to download the free MP3 encoder.

that is a great idea mr.b. I am going to try it asap as soon as i get home from school. i might have some problems but i'll figure it out and i will be podcasting.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh! It doesn't work on my computer! Nothing does anymore... I am sooo mad! But not that mad because i am shy and would rather not turn my story into a play or record it. I know, i am very boring! Don't blame me.

Tareeq - you have to record an mp3 of yourself, then upload it to the gcast website. Or you can phone one in!

Wow Mr. Byrd I think podcasting is a good thing to do. i sure did grab my attention.
Podcasting can be really cool - I would like some of you to record a radio show, a commercial, or your interviews and put music inside the file!
